Step by Step - Completion

Don’t think if only, think when

A Home Reversion Plan is a property sale and, once completed, your home will belong to Acrewood. Unlike other home sales, you do not have to pack up and move out. You simply carry on living in your home, just as you always have done, reassured in the knowledge that you will be able to continue living there for the rest of your life or until you require full-time, residential care

If the Plan is taken out jointly, the surviving partner can continue living in the property for as long as they wish. Please bear in mind however, that you still have to pay all the usual bills, such as Council Tax and insurance premiums and you will continue to be responsible for maintenance of the property

From time to time we may ask you to confirm that you are still living at the property. Every 18 to 24 months, we will arrange an appointment to visit to confirm that all is well and that the property is being properly maintained

Remember too, that you will need our written permission to rent out the property or to share it, except with those named in the tenancy agreement
